PAPER. PENCIL. ALCOHOL MARKER. INK. I’ve been doing these with color because I got asked for color… but its exhausting… One thing that gets me is hearing people tell me “I don’t get it.” I feel that I am writing using very simple language, and when there is what could be considered “technical jargon” it can be easily understood with context. Further, given the context of “Lesbian catgirls in the far flung future of 2318 living in a sky city with no human contact for 242 years,” I figure a reader could be grateful its even in a language they can comprehend…? Having read primary sources from the 1600s in their original script in the language of half of my native people (English), I could have written this with a much different tone… but I specifically attempted to make it accessible, which makes claims of inaccessibility troubling. Thoughts? If you leave a comment, please be sure you have read all of Lux Aeterna to this point. I’ll know if you haven’t. ^_^
